The first cohort of our intensive technical training on the ISO 50001 Energy Management System (EnMS) for industrial companies took place from October 24th to 26th 2023 at the AGI Secreatrait. Thirteen training participants from 10 industrial companies took part in the intensive training learning new skills on including how to develop robust energy policies for their companies, how to set targets and objectives to meet these policies, how to use data to understand energy use better, and how to measure the results and demonstrate energy efficiency and savings to management. They were also equipped with skills to demonstrate carbon reduction, implement culture change in their companies, and continually improve their energy management systems.
