Solar Roundtable Event

Solar Roundtable Event

On Tuesday, April 4th, the AGI Energy Service Center in collaboration with the Don Bosco Solar Training Centre and the Jakob Christian Adam Foundation held a roundtable discussion to obtain feedback and recommendations from solar installers on how to improve the 6-month intensive Solar Professional Advanced course. The course is offered by the Don Bosco Solar Training Centre and certified by the German Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK).

The discussion, which lasted for two hours, was held at the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) to solicit input from experts in the solar installation field. The aim of the roundtable was to identify areas where the course could be improved to ensure that it meets the needs of both trainees and industry stakeholders.

The Solar Professional Advanced course is a rigorous program that provides advanced training in solar installation techniques and technologies. It is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become proficient in solar installation, maintenance, and repair. The course is critical to the development of Ghana's renewable energy sector, which is rapidly expanding.

The roundtable discussion was an important step towards improving the course, as it allowed for constructive feedback from experienced solar installers. The recommendations obtained during the roundtable will be used to refine the Solar Professional Advanced course, ensuring that it remains relevant and up-to-date.
